BMP Medical is here to help you get your project off the ground and into production. At times, a customer may only have a concept that requires a technical drawing prior to beginning the molding process. BMP Medical partners with local vendors to provide detailed part drawings using CAD software. The drawings are critical to properly designing the tooling and the overall function of the parts.
Research and Development
Customers often present a project that is in need of parts for evaluation but does not require full-scale production tooling. Other times, the design is in development and there is a need for parts for customer evaluation. In this case, BMP Medical collaborates with you to devise the best plan to get parts in your hands quickly. We have built single-cavity aluminum molds that are capable of producing 100 to 10,000 parts for evaluation; and, we own single-cavity frames that we can build cores and cavities that allow cost savings. We also partner with several vendors that can assist with 3D printing and short-run production. These early designs allow BMP Medical to evaluate any challenges as we progress from prototype to full-scale production. This service is invaluable in the product development process and provides a cost-effective solution for early product concepts, such as: 3D Printing, Stereolithography (SLA), Rapid Injection Molding (RIM), Short Run Production, Master Unit Die (MUD) Frame Molds, and Single-Cavity Prototype Molds.
