While at the Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) and PLASTEC West event in Anaheim, CA, earlier this month, the team at BMP sat down with PlasticsToday to discuss the exciting year ahead. From increased capabilities to the company’s role in the future of the medical device industry, here are some of the highlights.

  • This year, the new 80,000-square-foot facility opened and more than doubled the production space of the previous 30,000-square-foot plant. Schedule a private tour of the new facility.
  • BMP also expanded its Class 8 cleanroom, installed 16 injection molding machines, and two injection blow molding machines in the new space. The forecasted goal is to bring the total number of injection molding machines to 40.
  • According to business consultancy EvaluateMedTech (Boston), BMP is forecast to achieve a 5.6% compound annual growth rate through 2024.
  • Finally, BMP is undergoing an ISO 13485:2016 certification. Find out why ISO certifications are so important here.
